Applied online in mid November, informed that I was "short listed" about a week later, then contacted by the Recruiter and was asked a few clarifying questions via email. Eventually was scheduled to speak with the Team Lead & Hiring Manager separately 2 weeks later. Calls with them lasted a combined 3 hours, and though the questions were tough I felt they were very fair. Ended the call by saying there would be an update before the Christmas holiday.
Followed up 2 weeks later and was told that my "Recruiter" would be in touch, so I followed up with her and was told the manager was still "reviewing candidates." 1 week later my Recruiter emailed and asked if I would be open to contract work, which I told her I wasn't given that I had a FT job. I never heard from her again after that, but I also was still listed as "Under Consideration" in their system so still not a "No."
I followed up again a month later in mid-Feburary as I was still listed "Under Consideration" but saw the role was in "Business Review" status. I asked if the role was on hold and for an update on my status. Once again, I received no reply. Finally, today I received the canned response that "after much deliberation, we are not able to proceed with your Application" and the position has been closed.
I sent an email to my Recruiter asking for additional feedback, but given the clear lack of communication over the past 3 months I am not expecting a reply.
