The first round is a phone interview with a member of Citidel's recruitment team. The interview is completely behavioral and focuses on your past experience, strengths and weaknesses, and education. It is essentially a deep dive into almost everything on your resume. The second round interview is with several members of their hiring team and principals on their Investor Relations team. 3-4 interviews mostly focused on deal experience and hedge fund knowledge. Mostly behavioral questions as well focused on why you want to work in IR and why hedge funds and Citadel. The interviews are more so to gauge how you think and why you would be a good fit.
