This interview process was insulting to me as a candidate and made me feel like my time was wasted. What's even worse is that a friend referred me, and I feel like the company insulted her as well. The first interview went well, I followed up with a customized portfolio of work for the position. I never heard if it was received from either my recruiter or the manager I interviewed with. I sent a few follow ups, but never got a response. I only heard I moved on to the next interview a month later with a person who would be my teammate. That interview also went well, and the next one followed shortly afterwards with another teammate within two weeks. Then, I got radio silence again for two weeks, when the recruiter asked to call me. The recruiter missed the times they scheduled with me, and then called me a week later to say that I was no longer being considered. I understand being thorough vetting candidates, but the ghosting, lack of responses, and professionalism I hoped for weren't there. This entire process changed my perspective of Cisco for the worse, and I will not be actively applying again.

I interviewed with four people total over about two weeks time. They were very friendly and I could get a good sense for the overall culture and team. The recruiter was also great and very communicative.
