J'ai passé un entretien chez Cisco

      Entretien

I believe the CSAP process is exactly the same in every country. First you apply online, fairs, or a recruiter contacts you if you posted your resume online in a website. The first part is how good your resume looks and if they are interested they will contact you. Second part they will make you do a video for them. The questions you need to answer may vary depending on your location, but in Brazil they asked you to submit a video on why you want to work at Cisco. It seems like a simple question and it is, but your answer should show how confident you are, if you are able to speak clearly, and say why you fit at Cisco. Third part if you go through the video stage is a webex interview. This is just like any interview, they will ask about you, your experiences, why you fit at Cisco, basic interview questions. Like for every interview, do the research on the company before hand, and some of the products they ofter. If they ask you some technical question, be honest, if you don´t know, just say it. The fourth part is the most difficult, you will go to their office and do more interviews and other things. If you are applying outside of USA, they will do all these things in ENGLISH. This job requires fluency in ENGLISH as well as in the language of the country you are applying to. It consists of 4 parts: 1) Technical quiz, 10 questions multiple choice, they will give you the material to study from. 2) In person interview. No surprises. 3) Role Play - The most difficult part of the whole process. You are the sales person for Cisco meeting a client for the first time. There will be a background story that they will provide beforehand. Your job is to provide your client with products and services that they need, using your knowledge of the Cisco products and your ability to sell and communicate with clients. Advice for this part: Know what Cisco does, their products and what they can ofter to clients. You can´t plan a script for this. You just got to know about Cisco and how a meeting with a client runs. The opening (rapport), the selling (asking questions and selling on what they answer), and closing (setting up next meeting, etc) 4) Presentation - a simple 10 minute presentation about a topic they give beforehand. For this, you can script everything as they won´t interrupt your presentation, but they will ask questions afterwards.
