Got an initial email for a zoom screen a day after applying. The gentleman I spoke with was very cool very relaxed and super understanding about my employment situation. He said he loved my experience and I’m a great candidate, I’m just looking for too much money. I said I didn’t want money to be the only thing that disqualifies me and he said he’d talk to the HM and see what number they can do and let me know, but I was basically guaranteed a second interview in my mind. Two days later got an email saying they were not moving forward with me. I emailed back for any follow up and got nothing back.
