Spoke with 7 people over 5+ (!!) weeks and after receiving another offer they told me they still hadn’t made up their mind and couldn’t compete with an offer of their own. If you don’t know whether I’m your candidate by that point, I’m clearly not, and I wish you’d simply regret me so I can move on. Overall, I liked everyone I spoke with except for one interviewer who was extremely unprofessional. As in the worst I’ve ever witnessed. She was clearly unsatisfied with how I answered a hypothetical (!!) scenario and kept pressing and gave off the impression like I wasn’t experienced in my field. It was honestly so disrespectful and upsetting. It’s fine if you don’t like an answer you receive from a candidate but you never make that known to the candidate in the way she did.
