I had a phone interview, and overall it was very basic, I was asked mainly behavioral questions. The person who interviewed me was very friendly, and if I wasn't so far away from leaving my military service, I believe I would get a follow-up interview.

2.5 month long interview process. Applied and was contacted by the recruiter, but before he could schedule me for an interview he said the position was filled. I applied to a second posting and inquired about that but got no answer. About a month later he reached out again saying that they were finally ready to interview for the role. I had an initial interview with the recruiter, then a 30 minute interview with the hiring manager. Then 5 one-on-one interviews that were behavioral based, a carbon copy of Amazon's interview style. Multiple red flags during the process: No formalized internal processes, still building standards Hiring manager mentioned they have no time to help teams One interviewer mentioned they are trying to make chewy the next amazon, and that the amazon people didn't like the "culture" that was being brought into amazon, and that's why they left When asked what is the best thing about working at chewy, one interviewer said that he liked to be recognized at Costco for wearing a chewy shirt. No one mentioned "people", "corporate culture" or "growth and development". Looking for Amazon experience, and they are flying the plane as they are building it. The recruiter also warned me that a interviewer was known for being a "tough interviewer" and likes to "shake people up".
