I had an interview for Chevron Australia organised.
couple days before, a RH person contacted me to change date and time and I promptly accepted it.
I prepared myself for the interview as I thought it would good for me to enter such a "good" company with all these values, partnership, integrity, bla bla bla
I entered on the virtual meeting room 5min before to make sure I was on time. 15 min after scheduled time anyone had showed up, I contacted rh people by phone and e-mail and thought something went wrong on the rescheduling or the link or something else.
Then I receive an email back saying the meeting interview was cancelled and someone would contact me.
5 min later I receive an e-mail from a person from HR saying apologies, we decided to go with other candidates, a very simple e-mail, not much apologising.
I hope anyone need to go through this, I felt really upset and angry as I wasted my time and prepared myself to a meeting was cancelled and I was the only one who didn't know about it.
Completely disrespectful and unprofessional.
