Very smooth; simply had to submit degree credentials or evidence of current university training and was verified within 5 days. There was a small delay because of difficulty seeing some of my info on my transcripts, but they were able to work through it within a day of me resubmitting required info :)

It was very good, it was basically an assessment which you need to pass so as to be a tutor on Chegg.
After that after a few days you can start working.

I applied online. Chegg reviewed my application and they approved. There was no face to face element or phone interview. The process was entirely online. No Facebook login required as some other reviewers have noted. I did, however, have to send in a picture of myself with my I.D. I also passed an online background check.
