Received call from HR and went through the skills discussion which was about 30mins. Later HR scheduled an hour interview with Test lead in WebEx. The position was for automation testing so the Test lead asked questions on selenium and cucumber and some situation oriented questions. We should thoroughly prepare and go since they are looking for syntax oriented answers. I did a screenshare with him and wrote the code for finding objects, customizing gherkins etc. I didn't answered few questions. I was 50-50 whether i will be selected. The interviewer told that I will be getting feedback in 2 or 3 days. Its been more than a week, but no updates/response from the HR. It would be good if they atleast notify me that I didn't got selected. It is bad attitude from HR department. Providing the feedback to the person would be helpful in improving the areas where they are lagging behind.

I had a phone screen with the hiring manager. The hiring manager was just promoted in the past 4 months and this role is her backfill. Hiring manager wanted to bring me for face to face interview as they were moving fast with this role. I had the face to face interview and the interview went well as a member from the Talent Acquisition team stated I had made it to the last round of interviewing. The hiring manager did indicate to me it was informal and more about seeing if I fit the culture. So my final interview was scheduled and up into the actual day, it was canceled. The rep from the Talent Acquisition team was baffled and had no answer as to why but told me to call the hiring manager. So I called and left her a message.
The hiring manager contacted me back and said they were having production issues so it will be rescheduled. She then indicated to me that the interview would be 30 minute formal and 30 minute informal which is different of what she originally indicated. Weeks passed so I sent her a few emails and still have not heard back. The position is still posted and the last interview was not scheduled. It would have been nice to receive a rejection email that they were moving on to the other candidates instead of making me wonder why the manager never contacted me back. Overall very unprofessional of not providing me an update is very poor business practice. Perhaps because she only had 4 months of experience as a manager after being a QA Analyst for many years. Anyone interviewing for this role in Fort Worth be aware that they can mislead you with false expectations and keep you wondering instead of getting back with you.
