Contacted early summer to set up an interview date. Interviewed on the phone with 2 managers (2 back to back 30 min interviews). They used STAR based system, which was well explained by the recruiter when setting up the interview time as well as by the first interviewer.

Mainly leadership questions, with one semi-technical question: How do you approach designing something?
Applied online, in person interview at a conference. Got offer 3 weeks later. Very chill interview. Encouraged STAR method for answers to the questions. Lots of questions, probably around 10. No technical questions.

What was one time you had to break safety protocol to solve a problem?
phone screening first, then in-person interview with 2 panelist for an hour. It consists of behavioral questions mainly and some introduction about the company and the team from the interviewer and Q&A at the end.

it was an wonderful experience, first round was a online assessment then followed by a two day hackathon and after completely the hackathon there will be only one technical interview.
