The interview process was extremely drawn out. This could be different depending on who your talent acquisition person is. The one I dealt with was exceptionally bad. Never updated me or responded to any email. They never updated their website either, so for over three months the status stayed at "in progress." No rejection emails or anything until one day after my last email it was finally updated. The number that the acquisition person provided had the voicemail of someone entirely different. The questions in itself were standard and reasonable. But the whole process was tormenting since no one had the decency to update me. I even tried googling how long the process typically takes at Cargill and the answers vary, but a lot said the process took too long. All in all I would say prepare yourselves for either a nice short ride or a long winding rollercoaster ride. Since it was a very long process to say no in the end, I would wish you luck and hope that they speed up the process. This was a terrible experience overall and honestly just heartbreaking. I did apply/interview for a different position with a different acquisition person at Cargill and that was a nice 2 week process. They should aim for that sort of timeline. Between 1-2 months would be reasonable, but only if they want that person working for them. If not, please do not stretch out the process and have the candidate maintain hope.
