From start to finish it was an unprofessional experience. After applying I received a notice that the recruiter would like a phone interview. Multiple times, she attempted to confirm dates and times that were different than what I had stated - in email - as available. Finally, after squaring away a confirmed time, she didn't call for our scheduled interview - only to email 25 minutes after it was supposed to start asking for a reschedule. For the next mutually agreed-upon time, she didn't call or email at all during our scheduled interview, only to follow-up later in the day apologizing and asking for another reschedule. We finally had the interview (which she was 5 minutes late in calling for). At the end of the interview she stated that she was going to recommend to the hiring manager that I move on to an in-person interview and asked for some dates that would work for me. I provided them via email after our call as I didn't have my calendar right in front of me at the moment. She then didn't respond at all nor after my follow-up a week later. Finally, after another week I emailed her rescinding my interest. To top off the entirely laughable experience, after I email telling her I'm not longer interested, I receive an email back, 3 days later, saying I'm no longer being considered for the position!
Calling it unprofessional would be a generous description.
