The whole process started out with the recruiter emailing me and calling me. Next I had a phone interview with the hiring manager and one of their direct reports. I was then asked to formally apply for the position which included manually copying and pasting my resume into their system and completing a personality assessment (think Myers-Briggs or something similar). A few weeks later, I was called in for a full day interview.
The full day interview consisted of:
- A math/analysis test, a verbal comprehension test, and a logic test.
- 2 separate behavioral interviews with 2 groups of 2 people (e.g "Tell me of a time when you did/encountered/dealt with XYZ issue.")
- An informal lunch with the direct report
- A background check
- A drug test
The process started in December and took about a month from initial contact to the decline email. They did not provide a reason for not wanting to make an offer other than that they decided to go with other candidates. AFAIK, there was no reason I should not have gotten an offer. I was disappointed that they decided to waste my day in the full day interview and wish they would have made a decision earlier in the process.
