      J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 5 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez CapTech (Richmond, VA) en oct. 2018

      Entretien

      I applied online and got a behavioral phone screen a little over a week later. After that I was invited to power day in Richmond. They paid for the flights and a fancy hotel and had a meet & greet event for mingling with other candidates and current employees. The next morning we showed up at the office, met the CEO, and went on to interviews. There were two behavioral and one technical interview. The technical one was whiteboard style, but the questions were not overly difficult and the interviewer was very nice and helpful. The behavioral ones were very relaxed and conversational. After that, we got a gift and left. I got a call 3 days later with a verbal offer, received the official offer a day after that, and was given about 10 days to decide.

      The interview process was thorough, multiple rounds. The final power round was 1 hour and 45mins - all virtual. I met with multiple leaders in the organization. Everyone was great and the questions were reasonable. I received great feedback on my interview. However, the role I interviewed for was deprioritized. So essentially I wasted a lot time just to be told “we want you, you were great but can’t authorize the budget for you at this time due to shifting priorities.” Super frustrating and this org should do a better job at forecasting open roles!

      Interviews at CapTech seem streamlined and easy to navigate. They are timely and go out of their way to work with you on scheduling. The initial screen is with a recruiter, and the one I talked to was really nice, engaging, and friendly.

      Phone screening which is just behavioral questions. Asked about my background. Tell me about yourself questions, I felt like i did well but I guess not. I might’ve answered the what makes a good consultant question wrongly. So make sure you study what makes a good consultant

Our goal through the interview process is to ensure those have the technical ability/skills required for the role as well as align to our core values and there is mutual interest. We do this through a recruiter screen, technical/skills interview, and a final round which consists of multiple interviews. Behavioral interview questions are incorporated throughout the process to understand past experiences and how those would handle different situations that arise with our clients.
