      Candidature

J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Canonical (New York, NY) en août 2023

      Entretien

Your time is precious - do not waste it on Canonical. Do not apply to this company. Do not work for this company. Perhaps most importantly, do not be like this company. Suggestions for better uses of your time: reading a book, going for a walk outside, writing this Glassdoor review, networking with real humans for other roles, and spending time with loved ones. There was no interview. This was a case study. The case study was laborious, time consuming, and full of irrelevant questions to the role in question. While this is purported to 'reduce bias' it just ends up being a ridiculous waste of time for both candidate and company. A simple phone screen at the inception of an interview could align a candidate's background with the role's needs. By way of example (see full list of questions below), I have been out of high school for 18 years. My interests and performance in it have zero relevance to performing a job in my mid-30's. I 'passed' this stage of the interview process and was asked to perform an even more asinine series of logic tests that bore resemblance to the mind-numbing corporate training sessions of a Fortune 500. I did not ‘pass’ this stage. Thank goodness.
