Interviewing at Cameo was one of the most efficient and enjoyable experiences I’ve had the pleasure of going through. At the time I interviewed, I had already received an offer from a different company. However, with Cameo being my first choice, I really wanted to see if I’d pass the interviews. My recruiter, Tarina, did an amazing job expediting the interview stages and subsequent evaluations, ensuring that the entire process finished up in about a week. She even made the effort to split up my final “on-site” over a few days to take advantage of my interviewers’ immediate availabilities, ensuring I could get all conversations done as soon as possible. Additionally, she did an admirable job of keeping me updated throughout the entire process, consistently checking on how I was feeling, if there were any changes to my availability, etc. I had never worked with someone so accommodating before, and can confidently say that Cameo’s process has definitely set the bar for any screening processes I may go through in the future.

This was a really positive interview process for me. My recruiter was so responsive and understanding, always keeping me in touch with my progress through the interview pipeline and really tried to meet me where I was at in terms of timeline and offers. Everyone I met in the team was great, and I got the impression that all the engineers that are extremely well rounded. Cameo cares about soft skills as well as hard skills, so they really try to find engineers that will be a cultural fit and will actually be pleasant to work with and have a mind for collaboration and that's super rare in my opinion. Also all the interviews are very collaborative. I really appreciated my interviewers understanding when I didn't have experience with a specific technology, and working to adjust the requirements to appropriately test my skillset.
