The interview process was exceptionally fast, which can be somewhat unusual in this field. I was invited to first interview by Skype for an initial conversation that lasted approximately 30 minutes. I was asked six questions that were designed to address my suitability and interest in the position as well as allow the committee to get to know me and for me to understand what they are hoping to find in the ideal candidate. I was later asked to interview for the second round, an intensive half-day long interview that included a presentation to the department. While this was challenging, the experience was smooth and I felt I grew from the interview experience already.
