Multiple interviews, some in-person and some in-office. Team was great, seemed like a good atmosphere until you hit the offer stage…I started the interview process at a salary that I was very comfortable accepting. Once interviews wrapped up, they extended an offer but for $5k less. After some back and forth, I still gratefully accepted. A week after my verbal acceptance, HR came back with a figure that was ANOTHER $5k lower. I’m now $10k less than the initial maximum they were willing to meet. At that point, it was no longer the salary that bothered me, it was the principle. In order to get back the $5k, they wanted me to meet with yet another person…after I already accepted at that figure? Pretty evident they don’t see your worth from the start. Do not recommend going through this 4 week roller coaster.
