J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris plus d'une semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez CDI Engineering Solutions, LLC (New York, NY)

CDI's recruiter reached out to me.
After 2 phone interviews, I was told that since I'm not from US originally, I will be underperforming because I won't be able to talk to clients the way I'm supposed to talk.

I applied as an NBA through LinkedIn and was contacted by the recruiter. At first she was very helpful, calling/email trying to prepare me for the first video interview. A few days after the interview, I surprisingly got a call back (although the interview did not go well) by the man who interviewed me and he gave me a verbal offer in which he asked me to start within a week so I had to give my one week notice at my other job. I then got in contact with the recruiter to tell her the news. Days after that, she called to notify me that I will have another video conference with another man who "wants me meet me"... She said it was not an interview, just an introduction.
It turned out to be another interview that I was not prepared for and it was a horrible experience. Days went by and I did not hear anything from the first guy who gave me the verbal offer or the recruiter who I was constantly calling/texting (but no response). On last day of my employment at my other job, I decided to call the first guy (too bad I cant say any names), and he broke the news that they decided to take the offer back. He told me that the recruiter was suppose to tell me but instead she decided to ignore me. First of all, the first guy who gave me the offer should have opened up his mouth and said something. Also, the recruiter should have done her job instead of ignoring me. Point is, their whole process is a mess and it can screw up someone's life. We all have to work to survive. I give CDI Corp. and their whole crew a thumbs down.
