I had a Zoom meeting with a recruiter. She went over basic position information and asked me a few questions. The interview was short and not too difficult. She set up a 2nd interview with the hiring manager then sent me an email confirmation. I had family emergency arise and emailed the recruiter promptly to request a reschedule. I did not have the recruiter's direct contact info and was unable to call her. I emailed her a 2nd time prior to the scheduled interview time and did not hear back from her. The next day, I received a generic email stating that I was no longer being considered for the position because I did not attend the interview and did not contact them. This is blatantly false. I sent 2 emails indicating that I contacted the recruiter to reschedule the interview.
