J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez CARVANA (Tempe, AZ)
Entretien
First round is woth a recruiter on the phone. No big deal.
Second is woth the director on the phone. Conversational but also situational questions.
Third is in person with about 6 rounds of one on one interviews. They one on ones were all different. On person kept interrupting my answers so I could never fully finish. One person stared at their laptop the whole time and no eye contact and kept a grimace on their face. One person called the customer number with me and had me act like a customer and then give feedback on the call. One person walked in with nothing hardly knew what was going on and then walked out looking confused.
To finish they had who would have been a peer give me a tour and walk me out. They were high energy and friendly but seemed hurried.
In general I got the vibe that they were looking for a specific personality type that just wasn't me. I felt all my answers were great but that I just didnt click with the people or company.
I also was worried because of some of their culture they shared. They explicitly said you work until it's done and that means weekends and maybe long days. I got the impression that everyone is running around trying to figure stuff out and working hard, which is great but I didnt see any end in sight. Seemed like they want someone to come live and breath carvana not just work there.
That being said I'm glad I didnt get an offer to turn down.
Well organized and straightforward. The response was timely and thorough while the interview itself was pretty run of the mill. No curve balls, just a pleasant conversation with a well informed interviewer.
