The process was as follows.
1. Online Test (For us, it was hosted on cocubes). First, there were 75 questions to be answered in 65 minutes with no negative marking. Questions were from sections on verbal, quant, aptitude, data interpretation, programming basics and one langauge(Java or C++) which we can choose.
2. After the online test, there were four rounds of interviews.
- First round was a basic Technical round where things written on your resume like your projects, assignments, technical skills, electives were discussed. One/Two puzzles also were given.
-Second round was another Technical round where coding questions like cloning a linked list with next and random pointers, finding anagrams of a string in an array of strings, reversing a linked list etc were asked.
-Third round was a managerial test round where we had an interview with the Vice President. Design questions like designing an app to control the car we drive were asked. Also questions like "What technology would you like to see after 25 years?" "What app do you think is missing in playstore today?" "What is your favorite tech product?" etc were discussed. If the interviewee possessed any managerial skills prior to the interview were discussed.
-Fourth was a HR round where questions like "Why CA Tech" "Did you attend any other interviews" "Where do you see yourself after 5 years" etc were discussed.
Overall, it was really a good experience. The interviewers are friendly, maintained professionalism throughout the process and made sure we don't feel the pressure at any point.
