I met with the current HR manager and the HR director. The interview was arranged through a recruitment agency. Interview was a discussion of my CV and 3/4 specific qs from the panel. Very short interview found the panel a bit dismissive of my cv. Found it unusual for the person whose role was being covered to be in the room and found that the scope of the role as described in the interview was quite limited. There was a long delay between interview and obtaining feedback (over a week) and then they selected someone internal which should have been considered before they put the role out to agencies.
