Unfortunately, my experience with the recruiting process left a negative impression of the company.
During the initial recruiter screen, the recruiter appeared distracted throughout the conversation. Several questions were asked multiple times, despite me having already provided detailed answers. The discussion felt disorganized and lacked the level of engagement I would expect during an introductory conversation for a senior leadership role.
The recruiter was also on speakerphone, which made the conversation feel less professional and more difficult to navigate. Rather than feeling like a meaningful assessment of my background and qualifications, the call felt rushed and unfocused.
Additionally, the compensation being discussed appeared to be lower than what was represented in the job posting. While compensation expectations can vary based on experience and location, the discrepancy added to an already disappointing experience.
Recruiters are often a candidate's first impression of a company. Unfortunately, the experience left me questioning the company's professionalism and culture, and ultimately made me decide not to pursue opportunities there in the future.
