Overall, a decent interview process. The first phone interview was easy and simple. The second video interview went well. However, the third interview was in-person and went terribly. The interviewer asked a discriminatory question and wanted to know where I lived in the GTA. Also, they do not promote the job title "Learning Advisor", instead they list open positions as "Business Representative" when in reality it is misleading and false advertising.

Question 1
What is your background, how were you raised? Which area are you from in GTA?
The interview consisted of a quick HR screening for basic. general questions followed by an onsite at Brainstation. The onsite interview was also behavioral. It seemed like the company lacked structure and processes. There was no follow up at all with this role and the company eventually ghosted me. The process was a waste of time especially since part of it was in person.

First step was an informal phone call with their senior talent specialist. Second step was a virtual interview with the VP of sales. Third interview was in person with their Team Lead. Fourth interview was a Google Slide presentation on BrainStation to the VP and Team lead. Going in for the third interview, the senior talent specialist showed me around the office. Both the VP and Team Lead were welcoming and kind. The presentation itself was quite challenging, and not very much direction was provided when asked for guidance. Asked for feedback on my presentation after receiving a cold email from the company that I did not receive the job, and did not hear back. Thanked the senior talent specialist, did not hear back. I think that feedback is very important even if interviewers do not decide to select the candidate. Was impressed up until the end, and not just because I did not get the job. They did a great job at selling their company through their nice office, but I was not entirely sold by how they listed each job posting using a different title such as "Business Development Representative." I almost felt that they were over promising and under delivering with development into different roles.
