      I quickly scheduled a first call with HR. The person was very friendly, and afterward provided me with the case study for which I had time to prepare during the weekend. Once I submitted it, it took several days until I received a response. I was surprised that it took that long. Once I received an email back, I was told that I would be dropped from the interview process because other case studies were better than mine. I understand that the applicant with the best case study will most likely get the job but INVESTING TONS OF TIME AND NOT EVEN BEING INVITED to a case study presentation is highly disrespectful. Plus, a case study is never complete without a proper presentation after submission. I don't understand the problem but it seems like that the company just needed some inspiration for new product launches. Despite being rejected without the possibility of a case study presentation, I was offered a lousy voucher that I can redeem on their online shop. As if this compensates for the effort I put into all the hard work. I don't deny that the company culture is great but the hiring process is not conducted thoughtfully.
