However, after a week of no response to my follow-up on LinkedIn, the COO sent me a rejection email, stating they hired someone more qualified. I reached out via email to inquire about the reason for the decision, but I haven't received a response yet. It feels like a significant waste of time, having invested two hours in the assessment test only to be rejected without any interview.
