I applied online and was contacted within a few days by a recruiter for a phone interview. During the phone interview I was asked to expand on my resume in terms of background and experience. I was then asked to come in for an in-person interview and given the names of the two people who would be interviewing me.
When I got to the interview, nobody seemed to have any clue why I was there. I waited 20 minutes while they located two people to do my interview, who were not the names I'd previously been given. I was taken to an unlit office and questioned by two people who had not seen my resume until that moment. They proceeded to ask less thorough and relevant questions than the phone recruiter had and did not listen to any of my answers, therefore repeating the same questions over and over.
After they'd asked a few questions about my resume, they moved into stupid questions like what sports teams I supported and who my favorite superhero was.
The whole interview lasted less time than what I spent waiting for the interview to begin. I left feeling that my time and energy had been wasted and felt kind of humiliated.
At least I learned not to waste time in the future applying for jobs at Bodybuilding.com.
