Invited to a phone interview.... Interviewing is already a stressful experience and having the interviewer's kid make noise during the interview makes it worse! If I as a candidate had a kid making noise in the background during an interview, I would have been deemed unprofessional, so why did this interviewer think it was ok for her to do this? Just bc you are at home doesn't make it ok, put the kid in daycare, get a babysitter or something. The interviewer also was not very knowledgeable or good at explaining the pay and benefits, in this person's role they should be able to answer these questions, especially when she was the one who brought up the topic. It was a poor experience and not worth my time.
