The interview was extremely informal. The hiring manager and I chatted for the first phone screen. Questions regarding my background were easy to answer however, I was not impressed with the candidate experience. Approximately 30 minutes after our phone call, the hiring manager sent me an email stating that she would review my profile with another team. Immediately following that email, I received another email stating that the team was going to pass. In my opinion, I would appreciated a little bit more of a time gap between emails. It makes a candidate feel undervalued and that the decision lacked care. At my current employer we have processes in place to avoid this situation.
