I was invited to a phone interview with a recruiter. She was very friendly and explained the job & hiring process well. I felt that we had a good rapport and looked forward to next steps. I sent a thank you email the next day, and then a check-in message once a week for 5 weeks. I never heard a peep back from the recruiter or even got an automated "we did not chose you" email. Very disappointed by the lack of professionalism after the positive interview experience.
