That said, the process felt mismanaged in hindsight. From the first call, I was flagged as a better fit for a junior role, yet I continued through 3 rounds for the EA position anyway. After not passing the technical round, they pivoted to interviewing me for the junior role — only to ultimately reject me because they lacked the bandwidth to train someone at that level. The lack of clarity was frustrating. Several weeks of interview prep were invested in a role that, it turned out, didn't really exist.
