Our conversation went very, very well, more of a "getting to know you" type conversation to validate relevant experience versus a technical interview
Recruiter took the initiative to say they wanted to move my interview process to the next stage with management, everything seemed to be going great
Con:
Then nothing ever happened. Upon following up with recruiter, they said their focus had shifted to filling vacant senior leadership roles rather than the role I applied for. Uncertain whether they ever hired anyone for the role I applied for, the outcome was unexpected because they had seemed so enthusiastic about my application.
