First step was an online assessment for half an hour, but they don't tell you ahead of time what to expect in it. It's a bunch of technical questions that are timed.
Second round was 1 hour tech interview. I had very little idea of what was going to happen in this interview. It turned out to be a mix of behavioral and live coding (which was a big surprise to me.) Interviewer was nice enough I guess, but I didn't feel like they wanted to be there and could definitely feel them getting impatient the longer I took with the problem.
I think the recruiter needs to do a better job communicating what the interview process is like and what is expected.
