Challenging interview process with multiple rounds. Met with recruiter, hiring manager, and the the team as well. It is easy to say this was the most challenging interview I have ever participated in.

Interview process is drawn out and excessive. The individuals you report to and work with were great interviews. But for some reason this company makes people from other departments interview you and assess your analytical and process ability. They give you some topics to "study" before the interview, but its vague and during the interview those topics weren't even discussed. Basically they give you a bunch of math problems to solve on population genetics, that I wasn't prepare for. This is stuff that I learned a decade ago in college, and has no way pertain to what my day to day duties would be. In the end, it just makes the company seem very high and mighty like they are trying to weed out all the people who can't solve these problems. I guess that's their prerogative, but good luck finding these perfect candidates in a reasonable time. Just take a look at their job board, same multiple positions posted for weeks.
