After submitting application, cover letter, and resume I was asked to do a phone interview with someone at the corporate office. I passed that screening and then went on site to meet with the property managers for an in person interview.

I received an email to schedule an interview so I did. It was supposed to be at 3:30 PM today with their talent acquisition specialist. I set an alarm for ten minutes before the interview, got my notes together, plugged in my phone and waited. 3:30 came and no call. I waited 10 minutes in case she was finishing up a call and tried her number with no answer. I waited another ten minutes, tried again and left a polite message to call me. I waited until 4 in case she accidentally entered the end time as the interview start time. Nothing. I then checked my email and saw that at 3:36 I had received an email from Bigos stating that I had not been selected to move forward in the selection process. Not only is that unprofessional, it’s very rude. She couldn’t have told me before the interview time that they changed their minds?!? Instead I wasted my time preparing for the interview and 40 more minutes of my time waiting for a call that wouldn’t come. Her treatment of a prospective employee is unacceptable and not a good look for your company. I had applied because I had a good experience as a tenant in the past. This experience has definitely soured my opinion of Bigos Management.
