Incredibly long interview process only to be ghosted by the company. Very disappointed to make it through 4 rounds only to not get a response. You should follow up with all candidates but especially ones that make it further along in the process.

If you're reading this as a propsect, please understand that although there are quite a bit of similar interview experience across the board, this doesn't root from 'sour grapes' - most of us only write reviews if its worth advising potential hirees. Tread lightly. The interview process consisted of a 5-week process across 8 different interviewers. There is a 4-hour onsite interview to demonstrate all your skills and knowledge regarding your experience, with a take-home exercise to show your critical thinking skills. After the first 7 interviews, including the 4-hour onsite, all of them provided great, positive feedback about me. However, one follow up interview with a Leader that really only lasted 15 minutes (they were also 7 minutes late with little apology, very unprofessional in my opinon) found that my answers 'fell short' and not detailed enough. It's difficult to put things into comprehensive responses when you're limited on time but I did my best to provide concise, to the point, context. This is not a new question as this has been asked multiple times throughout the interview process with other members, but was given more time to divulge. As a result, I did not get the job. The feedback received was that I was absolutely qualified after a rigorous 5-week interview process, but one individual found my answers to 'fall short' which was the ultimate factor as to why I was not chosen. After reading the reviews regarding the company and other people's experience with leadership, this falls in line with some of those sentiments. One person's 15-minute assessment overpowers 7 other people's opinion through 4-5 hour sessions - this leads me to believe that Leadership does not take into account the teams/departments input and body of work leading up to the final stages of a decision. Needless to say, after reviewing the overall company outlook and other employee's experience at BetterUp, that one individual was the silver lining as to why I would re-consider working for this company. All other 7 individual interviewers were great people and amazing to talk to; I enjoyed my time with them. Leadership on the otherhand demonstrated a lack of awareness and comprehensive consideration on one's future. But the grueling process of a 5-week interview takes a toll on any candidate and can lead to interview burnout, so be prepared/cautious to be mentally ready for this procedure and potentially be let down despite any positive feedback.

It was very comprehensive and gave me a great sense of the role and the company. There were multiple stages, from a screening call, to a panel interview day, and a mock assignment. Throughout the process, the interviewers were warm, engaging, and informative.
