In interview with HR, they got in 5 minutes late. At the beginning I got the impression that I talk to the owner or the CEO, in any case someone really high in the ladder. Then I understood and confirm the were just plain HR employs with a very bad attitude and manners. Example when asked about the working model, I got the answer "I have them working 2 days from home and 3 from on site". And when discussing the compensation I heard the words "I like to invest in the person rather than skills and experience".

Entretien
Pretty standard for a company with an interview process. The process begins with a phone screening by the HR / talent acquisition where you have to provide some information about your background and your experiences. Then, it is followed by a tech screening from someone in the engineering where you talk about the stack and the technologies involved. Finally, you get to meet some future team members where you will have the final tech interview / cultural fit questions, etc

Question 1
This was a whiteboard question where you work with the interviewer to deliver some design. Design a system that will handle millions of xml files per day. You will have to parse the files from storage, store the entries in database and compute reports. The generated reports need to be delivered via multiple mediums.
