Usually a 3 interview process. Phone interview with Area Sales Manager, then phone interview with Regional Sales Director, and final interview with National Sales Director. After passing final interview, you are usually asked to do an in-person presentation to your Area Sales Manager, selling whatever you currently sell.

Called by internal recruiter for an interview. I had already spoken with a Sales Manager so it seemed more a formality when she called to set up the interview. We talked for about 10 minutes and then she proceeded to set up onsite interview. I went onsite about 1 week later and had 5 interviews. One of them was to be with the CEO but due to family emergency, the interview didn't happen. All the interview were pretty straight forward. It was more relationship type of interviews and a few hard questions. Probably the toughest came from the Sales Leadership that challenged me as to why I wanted to work for Benefitfocus.
