After going through two rounds of interviews (a phone interview and an in-person interview) I was told I would be contacted about a third and final interview. After weeks of waiting and even following up myself, I never received a response. At this point, it seems I was simply ghosted. I understand not every candidate is selected, and I have no issue with that. What was disappointing was the complete lack of communication. After investing my time in multiple interviews, the least a company can do is send a brief email letting candidates know they were not selected. Leaving people wondering for weeks is unprofessional and reflects poorly on the hiring process.
