The interview process was simple and straightforward. The interviewer appeared friendly and explained the position. She only asked me to talk about myself and what my preferred salary is. The hiring process after this, though, was a total disaster. During the interview she said that I’ll hear back within one day. I did not hear back until three days later that I got the job. I’m glad I got it, but the misinformation is a little unprofessional. That wasn’t the worst part though. They assigned me a start date, and later that day I got a call from the talent acquisition coordinator saying that he’ll send me an email with instructions. The email came way later than he said it would, and in it it said instructions for the background check, drug test, etc. I sent all the required materials. Two days later, the background check company requested more information, some of which I had already submitted to them in the first place. (Mind you that I’m a person with no criminal record, no history of drug/alcohol use, and am a legal US citizen, born and raised here.) I complied and sent them the info. No response or confirmation that they got it. I called them, and they said they’d call me back. They called back two days later and finally confirmed that they received it. By this point another week was over, and the only step left was to receive and complete Beacon Health paperwork. I was in a hurry to get clearance for work since I was currently working for another company and had to give them notice. I didn’t want to leave my current job without receiving confirmation that everything was fine because I heard that this company has a habit of offering people jobs and then rescinding the offer during the background check. Another week passed and I still received no email about the paperwork. I emailed my talent acquisition coordinator about the status. No answer. I called him a few times the following week. Still no answer. I finally got him on the phone at the end of the next week and he went through my record and said that everything should be all set and I should receive the paperwork by the end of the day. Day ended. No paperwork. Basically, this company is pretty unreliable. If they tell you they’ll do something for you, assume they’ll only do it several weeks after the day that they said they would do it. I ended up giving no leave to my current job. As someone who has been working for them for two years now, I can confirm that this company is one of the most disorganized companies running.
