I recently went through the interview process for a role and had two in-person interviews, both of which required a significant time commitment. Following this, I had to chase for updates over the course of about a month, with very limited communication from the company.
Eventually, I received an automated rejection email, which not only came after a long delay but also referenced a different role than the one I had applied for. This gave the impression of a lack of attention to detail and respect for candidates’ time and effort.
While the interview experience itself was positive, the follow-up process and communication fell short of expectations. I would encourage the company to improve their candidate communication and ensure more accurate and timely updates moving forward.
