They first took some management kind of round for more than 1 hr. After which they conducted round with BU head. After keeping 4 hrs of gap in first 2 round, they asked to wait for HR round. Again after 3 hrs the message was, we will call you for HR round in the coming week and their coming week never came and they wasted full days of around 100 people at kharadi, pune

Extremely disappointed with the interview process. As discussed with the consultant, expected it to be two rounds of technical interview followed by a HR round. After reaching the Barclays office in hinjewadi and having to wait 2 hours for practically nothing, I literally overheard the panel discussing "There are too many folks for today, let's wrap it up as soon as possible" and to the surprise they set-up a written test which was treated as an elimination round. Now, the more depressing part was the problem statement given in written test was completely ambiguous and imaginary and expected candidates to code that scenario. I mean when you call a few hundreds of candidates on a Saturday for interview, at least make their efforts worth by arranging a panel of such capacity rather than involving folks who are just in a haste to wrap things up. These things clearly bring out the reason for so many negative reviews about the organization in Glassdoor itself. Barclays is an esteemed brand undoubtedly but unfortunately in very unprofessional and pathetic hands at the moment.
