Typical questions -- current job responsibilities, industry knowledge, strengths, etc. That call then ended with him saying that I would hear back from them the following week and that they would be bringing people into the office for in-person interviews. It sounded optimistic, but I was never contacted again nor was I ever notified that they went "in a different direction."
