Entretien
Got an email from a man after applying online but he didn't appear in the live interview. Hiring manager claimed the Company had changed and upped their HR practices in hiring sales talent. I had to ask for the next step to be sent to me, from an HR person and as others have reported for this process, it went downhill from there. I go to an interview expecting to have a productive dialog, not to play games. There are respected online assessments that many companies use when they are interested in testing the aptitude of sales candidates. This Company seems to be too cheap or uncaring to invest in them.
I got an out of left field "assessment" which was frankly beyond ridiculous, asking me to translate phrases out of rogue languages, do engineering and math problems, and more. Having taken a plethora of advanced sales tests in my life, this was insulting to me, my time and to any sales candidate. My suggestion is they invest money and pay for some standardized basic US sales tests, if they want talent. They then wrote me I was fabulous, but did not pass. Lucky me not to work for them.

The process was excellent. The interviewer was professional and informative. The company and the position were explained very well. I feel very comfortable with BairesDev post the call.I anticipate moving forward, and am excited for that.
