Application
I applied online. The process took around 4 weeks. I interviewed at Babbel (Berlin (Germany)) in December 2019.
Interview
Firstly 20 - 30 minutes 1:1 screening interview with a friendly but very professional HR manager, where he explained about the company and provided guidelines related to the next steps, afterward a panel interview with Engineers to assess technical skills and relevant past experience. The third step was interview with the Engineering Managers to assess soft skills and overall team fit evaluation. Overall I had a very pleasant experience and the Babbel's team handled the process quite professionally.

During the process, if you have any confusion/queries, just ask/mail the HR, he'll get back to you with superb communication skill.
