      Entretien

      Started off the interview process by applying for the vacancy online. Few days later I received a call to arrange a telephone interview. Once I had passed the telephone interview I was offered an interview at the assessment centre. Feeling nervous and anxious as it was, the whole interview process on the day made me feel worse. I arrived on site to be let in the building 10 mins after standing out in the rain (along with 4 other applicants). We were taken to a meeting room where we all sat round a table, along with a boss, a team leader and 3 managers) First of all we received a presentation from the team leader. Following, x1 group exercise, x2 role plays (which was carried out just you and the manager), then call listening with other call advisors and after all that finally doing the face to face interview. (3 hours). For me personally I find interviews daunting as it is without them lasting more than an hour. I feel like 3 hours is far too long. I honestly feel like it was one of the worst experiences of my life. I found it very mentally exhausting. The best way I can describe it would be that it felt like I was back in the school classroom being spoken down to by the teachers. I will be finding out tomorrow whether I have a job offer or not but I will be politely declining if offered, after having time to think. I’m sure it would be a great job and there is definitely plenty of benefits and positives to the job. It’s the interview process that is off putting.

A minha aplicação foi feita através de uma agência de estudantes, porém o RH da empresa me ligou perguntando se eu gostaria de participar da entrevista. Foi uma entrevista tranquila, como uma conversa, foram feitas perguntas sobre administração do tempo, organização, resiliência

      BT has a three round virtual interview which consists of HR round, Assessment and Ops round It is generally based on communication skills. They will not judge you on process as you have to go through the training program anyway.
