HR reached out. I had a phone interview with HR then within 2 weeks had an in person Interview with 4 people on the team. There was an interviewer who was not engaged and didn't look me in the eye. Maybe the interviewer wasn't prepared because they kept looking down at my resume. I didn't answer one of the definition questions correctly and it started to go down hill from there. The interviewer started to become condescending and putting me down. I didn't want to say the interviewer was being rude out of courtesy. I was tempted to tell my next Interviewer I did not like the last interaction but wanted to keep going. I did not get an offer and even if I did, I would not accept because of this experience. I have also declined Interview requests from BNY for other departments.
