I applied for the 'Launch & Change Control' industrial placement. The wait from when I first applied to being rejected was over 6 months! I applied in November, and after the deadline was delayed twice, heard back from BMW in Feburary. From there, I did two online aptitude tests, which I passed, followed by an automated online interview. From there, I had a 10 week wait to hear back as to whether I had made it through to the next stage! As a student this is very stressful as it is approaching the deadline of notifying the university that I was potentially undertaking a placement, and I still had another round of potential interviews! Around 7 weeks in, I emailed HR asking for an update and recieved no reply.
